8th May 2010 will see the 2nd Xiamen Gulangyu Rugby Tens, hosted by Xiamen Typhoons RFC at the historic People’s Stadium on Gulangyu Island, set amongst the palm tress and decaying colonial mansions of yesteryear, and played on what is officially recognized as mainland Chinas oldest football pitch. 

Valley RFC of Hong Kong will be defending their 2009 title against the Xiamen Typhoons, Shanghai Hairy Crabs and Guangzhou Rams again. This years expanded format will also see the Chengdu Pandas, Shenzhen Dragons, Beijing Devils and the Hangzhou Harlequins stake their claim for beer soaked glory. 

Over the course of a full day packed with great rugby and entertainment. Karl and the Pacific Islanders will be manning the BBQ, serving up tasty burgers all day long, and of course, The Londoner will be providing the Beers. Coca Cola have come to party with soft drinks and snacks as well. 

The music will be pumping as eight teams battle it out for 2010 Gulangyu Tens Cup and Bowl competitions. Bring friends and family down for a fabulous day of entertainment from 9am thru to 5.30pm on Gulangyu Island, followed by an all night celebration beach party back on Xiamen Island, put on by XBE .  Last years party was an absolute cracker, over 1000 ppl rocking on until sunrise, we expect the same this year.
