With just over 2 months until the West Country 7's festival team applications have been flooding in.  If your team would like to enter please visit our website - www.westcountry7s.com - and download an application form.

The weekend will be an international affair...  

In the UK National Sevens Series competing alongside the best that the UK has to offer will be a European-based invitation 7's team, and a club side from the USA including a number of current USA 7's stars.

The Men's Open competition will also feature sides from overseas, including a team from Portugal featuring international players, as well as an African country's national team - both of these sides will be well worth looking out for.  Joining them will be a number of impressive UK based 7's sides, including the Scorpions, West Country Cavaliers and the Godfathers.

The Ladies Open competition has some big names as well, with Bristol, Worcester and Cheltenham Ladies joining the British Army Women and some other invitation 7's sides.

The Men's Social 'PA Trust' competition is a real mixed bag at this stage.  The Hurricane Tigers will be making the journey over from the Isle of Wight, Huddersfield RUFC will be travelling south and bringing 2 sides, and will all be looking to upset the local teams like the Avon Stormers, Ruck N Rollers and Keynsham PA's.
