THE SET TOURS SUSSEX OPEN SEVENS
The SET Tours Sussex Open Sevens replaced the Sussex Schools Sevens in 2008. The Sussex Schools Sevens had been running for over 60 years.
The SET Tours Sussex Open Sevens is held at Christ’s Hospital School and welcomes 32 boy’s teams and 10 girls’ teams in 2010.
The tournament aims to become the premier Schools Sevens tournament in the South of England.
Notable attendees will be the RFU Elite Referee Unit including international referee Wayne Barnes, who will be taking control of some matches and International players such as Nick Easter and Peter Richards.
Christ’s Hospital is a Charity - a school for the education of children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The tournament is was keen to support these children by giving them sporting opportunities through fundraising.
