SOUTH AMERICAN SEVENS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The South American Sevens (CONSOR) will be hosted by Brazil in Sao Paulo and will see the South American International so battle on the 7s field.
8 Womens teams and 8 Mens teams will take the field this january. In the mens competition Argentina will be favorites though they will be fielding a 2nd string side. In the womens divisions everyone will be gunning for Brazil as they are unbeaten in South America for the past 4 years.
In the stunning setting of Sao Paulo where to most on the inside an oval ball is more than bizarre and from the outside surprise that rugby is taking place at all there is certainly going to be some scorching rugby played across the weekend which will demonstrate how far South American rugby has come especially in the 7s form of the game
