Back Bay RFC are proud to host their annual 7s in the Sand competition on the world famous Huntington Beach.

Back Bay Rugby Club of Newport Beach California is excited to announce that the
6th Annual Sharkfest 7's Tournament will be held on the beautiful beaches
of Huntington on Saturday, September 20 th , 2008.

Sharkfest 7's will take place as part of the very popular Taste Of New Zealand,
organized by the City of Huntington Beach. All tournament entrants will receive a
FREE all day pass into this unique sampling of New Zealand culture.

The Rugby event will host teams in four divisions,
Senior Men's, Collegiate, Under 19's, Alumni and Youth with trophies awarded
to the younger teams and cash prizes for the seniors. Highlights include the
“Fastest Man on the Beach” competition where Rugby players of all ages can compete
to impress the large crowd of spectators.

The Games will be played on 4 well-groomed sand fields located South of the famous Huntington Beach Pier. Sharkfest 7's will conclude with an awards presentation
and post tournament party at Sharkeez in Huntington Beach.
