Roma Seven has been running for 10 years and now is the 1st 7's Rugby Tournament in Italy, the 3rd in Europe and the 9th in the World.

"Australia 7 Men" & "Aoetaroa New Zealand Maori ladies" have won the fantastic Roma Seven 2010.

This year will be the 10th anniversary of Roma Seven, an impressive field of teams will join to the Men 7's, Ladies 7's and the strong Veterans 10's Rugby Tournaments.

Roma Seven has hosted the best 7's rugby players:

Waisale Serevi, the famous Fijian 'Maestro' of Seven,
IRB Best Seven Player of 2006 : the England 7 captain and the world top scorer Ben Gollings;
IRB Best Seven Player 2007 A. Penelise;
IRB Best Seven Player 2008 DJ Forbes All Blacks 7 captain;
IRB Best Seven Player 2009 Ollie Phillips
and the All Blacks 7 Tomasi Cama, Salomon King, in 2009 with the winning team 'Roma Seven'.
In 2010 Dj and Tomasi comes back again at Roma Seven toghether with Fritz Lee, Edwin Cooker & Sherwin Stowers fighting versus the strong Australia 7, winner of the tournament.

The seductive Stadio dei Marmi provides the perfect setting for Rugby 7's under the careful watch of the national broadcaster RAI Sport PIU’ cameras. Year on year the ‘Roma Seven’ seems to spark the enthusiasm in Italy for Rugby, with it’s flair, pace, and passion embracing the way Italians love to play their sport.

Roma Seven is a two day tournament with pool stages on the Friday before teams battle it out in the knock out stages on the Saturday for the prestigious “Roma Seven 2011 - International Rugby Sevens Tournament”. Saturday also sees the old boys get a run out with a special tournament, “Porta Portese Memorial Renato Speziali”, organised for the veterans of the game, since last year with international players,
like Allan Bateman (ex British Lions & Wales XV player) and others famous old.

The post tournament ‘Roma Seven Party’ is known as one of best around on the circuit with great DJ’s and beautiful women providing the perfect backdrop to the Italian sunset.
