To maximise your company’s chances in the Sevens Competition and to add to the fun for your team, we are offering you the chance to bring in up to 3 Sevens Specialist Players!

Teams are made up of 12 players – at least 9 players must be fielded from your company with the opportunity to recruit 1,2 or 3 Sevens Specialists.

To ensure that all teams are playing at the right level, we have ensured that all Sevens Specialists can play a good standard of rugby and have been ranked according to the RCUK star rating. None of the Sevens Specialists are professional players.

There are two ways in which you can add a player to your squad, bid or buy now. “Buy now” allows you to instantly buy a Specialist Player for a much reduced, set fee. You cannot select which player[s] you want unless you bid. At the end of the bidding process, all players unallocated will be drawn by lot and allocated to teams accordingly.

For those wishing to pursue specific players, the opening bid for every player is £150, further bids can again be to suit your budget, bids will be of £25 increments.

You can bid for as many players as you like. If at the end of bidding, yours is the highest bid on more than one player, as you can only have a maximum of three Specialist players, the three highest of your bids will be allocated to you. All the other players you bid for will be allocated to the next highest bidder.

At the end of the process all players not assigned to a team by highest bid, will be allocated to teams who took advantage of the “Buy Now” deal.
