The George Sevens is a weekend of international rugby sevens at the Outeniqua Park Stadium in George, South Africa. The second leg of the IRB Sevens World Series, it's famous for its warm, friendly, and intimate atmosphere.

16 international sides

The weekend long tournament plays host to 16 international sides and is widely regarded as the most beautiful stop of the IRB Sevens World Series. The stadium is located with the Indian Ocean on one side and the spectacular Outeniqua Mountain range on the other.

The George Sevens had its 10 year anniversary at Outentiqua Park in 2008, over the years the stadium has seen some spectacular sevens. The 2009 final saw New Zealand beat Fiji in a game that was slow to start but finished in pulsating fashion.
