PEEBLES 7S
Peebles is a country town in the Scottish Borders and sits in a beautiful valley of the River Tweed, surrounded by hills, farms and forests.
The club was formed in 1923 and runs three senior teams, a semi-junior team and has a thriving mini section. Rugby is played at the Gytes, Hay Lodge Park, Peebles high School and Walkerburn RFC (an associate club) and our clubrooms are in the Eastgate.
The Peebles 7s is on the 'King of Sevens' circuit in the borders of Scotland with other esteemed rugby 7s tournaments such as Melrose and Hawick.
Teams from the borders along with invitational sides annually battle for the right to be known as the 'king of sevens' and Peebles is an important stop on the circuit.
This year the tournament is sponsored by Tweed Homes
