North Walsham RFC in the beautiful Norfolk plays host to their annual 'Rugby Sevens' tournament. The event has been described by England's former Sevens coach, Mike Friday, as one of the top three rugby sevens tournaments in the country. Each year the East Counties are treated to some exceptional exponents of the game from revered clubs such as Leicester Tigers, London Irish, Northampton Saints, Samurai and many more. Who will walk away with the £4000 winner’s cheque this year? As well as a national event, spectator and amateur interest is maintained in the form of the local competition interest truly making it an event for everyone.
11th international sevens tournament with 12 premiership teams entering, and 14 local clubs.
