We hope you are all well and have enjoyed your rugby this year to date. The team at the Newcastle 7s would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all who have either enquired about entering the proposed 2010 7s and to those of you who took part in last year’s event.

Unfortunately due to factors such as the current economic climate and ground unavailability, we regret to inform you that this year’s proposed tournament will not go ahead after all.

Many efforts have been made over the past 6 months to secure event sponsors, a suitable ground and a date to hold this year’s event, but to no avail, hence the lack of communication regarding the status of the event, as we wanted to finalise our position before an official response was made to you all.

We thank you all for your patience and will be in touch in due course regarding any future tournaments.
