A carnival atmosphere descends on the annual Nelson Mandela Bay 7’s seeing talent individuals from high school, university, clubs, provincial, and international. The focus will undoubtedly be on the SA Vipers, containing a number of players from the star studded SA 7’s team.
After the sevens is finished for the day, we will see a full game of XV’s rugby. The highlight is undoubtedly the SA Rugby Legends vs Grey Old Boys. A repeat of the 2006 game, which Joel Stransky won in the last minute with a penalty goal, a game that the Grey Old Boys have not forgotten & a score that needs to be re-aligned!
When the rugby is over the crowds will entertained by leading South African musicians such as Shine4, Kurt Darren & DJ Ossewa.
