EMIRATES AIRLINE GLASGOW SEVENS
The Edinburgh Sevens is a weekend of international rugby sevens held at the home of Scottish rugby, Murrayfield Stadium. The tournament is the final leg of the IRB Sevens World Series and welcomes 16 international teams to battle it out over two days. Over 30,000 people are expected to attend the event.
Fiji crowned 2009 champions
At the 2009 tournament Fiji were in fine form beating New Zealand and Wales on the way to the title. The final was a closer affair with Fiji beating South Africa by just a point. Despite losing in the final South Africa were crowned 2008/09 IRB Sevens World Series overall champions at the Edinburgh Sevens.
