"HEAVEN'S GAME PLAYED IN PARADISE".

A successful Hyperion Gold Coast International 7s tournament in 2009, saw National, Invitational, S14 provincial teams and International touring teams competing for a generous $40,000 prize pool. It was an all Fijian Cup Final where the South Sea Drifters out did the Uprising Beach Resort in a fantastic game of Fijian 7s Rugby.

This years event; again hosted by Rugby Gold Coast and sponsored by Hyperion asset Management, will take place on 13th - 14th November 2010 and again will attract national teams in preparartion for the IRB World Series; starting shortly after the Hyperion Gold Coast International 7s Tournament.

Regsitered Teams for 2010:
Mens: South Sea Drifters (Fiji), Country King Browns (Aus), Global Waimanu (Fiji), PNG Aroma Coast (PNG), Sunnybank (Aus), Niue (Niue), Aussie Spirit (Aus), Gold Coast Breakers (Aus), Qld Reds (Aus), Western Force (Aus), International Samurai's (UK). With a list of teams with interest including Teams from New Zealand and Spain.
Womens: PNG Wonens Defence Force (PNG), Eastsyde (Aus), Sunnybank (Aus), Nerang (Aus).

The 2010 event will also follow on from the Pan Pacific Masters Games held on the Gold Coast the week leading up to the Hyperion Gold Coast International 7s. It promises to be a fantastic festival of Rugby "In Paradise"!
