Strath, Quins stay in chase for NSC

The 2009 Western Union National Sevens Circuit is headed for a photo finish after table toppers Strathmore and Quins made it to the semi final stage of the Driftwood Sevens, the fifth and final round of the NSC.
Strathmore beat Kenyatta University's Blak Blad 17-5 in the quarter final while Quins were lucky 10-7 winners over Nakuru RFC. Strath face Mombasa Polytechnic who stunned Impala RFC 14-12 in their quarter final clash while Quins play outgoing NSC champions Mwamba RFC who beat KCB 12-0 in a match that saw the KCB team lash out at center referee Richard Pamba's decisions.
