The countdown is on to the kick off to the Australian 7's season with the Fitness First Central Coast Sevens looming up in only 6 weeks time. Remaining places are currently being finalised in the draw in what is shaping as an electrifying festival with some of Australia's powerhouse teams and 2 Fijian representatives in the NZ based Fijian Pacific Warriors and the Sid Vaka Australian Fijian Development Team. Two invitational teams in the Impact Rugby Team will feature a number of former NRL players in Melbourne Storms Matt Geyer & Jamie Feeney along with Manly Legend Cliffy Lyons and Parramatta Champion Michael Buettner. The Te-Whanau team will feature a number of former Cook Islands Sevens players as well as John Hopoate the former Manly NRL player.

The NSW Waratahs Academy will be strong as will premier clubs Sydney Uni, Manly & Parramatta up against the likes of sub districts team Hunters Hill and local representatives Central Coast Waves and Warnervale Wildcats and the powerhouse Vikings team the minor premiers from the A.C.T competition

The final places in the draw are close to be filled with a number of teams jostling to secure their place.

The Festival is shaping as a great day with special performance by Hip Hop Artisit Knockout and amusements and fun for all the family.
