The Fitness First Central Coast Sevens is coming...

Excitment is building for the inaugural Fitness First Central Coast Sevens looming up on 3rd October 2009.

The tournament featuring 12 men's teams and 5 women's teams has attracted a host of high quality teams including a number of Sydney premier rugby clubs including Parramatta, Manly, Gordon & Warringah. The Legends team is featuring a host of talent with former Tongan International Nisi Manukia, Manu Samoa player Bell Sasulu, former Wallaby & NRL player Scott Gourley, Manly & League Legend Cliffy Lyons and former Super 12 and Australian 7s player Matt Sonter another player to watch here is powerhouse Paul Cowie big and fast!

The Burwood Blues look to be an excitment machine previously winning the Hurricane 7's Hawaii & Bangkok 10's and the Lloyd McDermott Indingenous Rugby Development team are sure to be a surprise packet.

The Warringah Womens teams reputation preceeds them and they start strong favourites in the women's tournament with a large contingent of the team being national players.

The tournament is a great opportunity for players to make an impression on national 7's coach Michael O'Connor who has confirmed he will be in attendance.

We are already attracting interest for 2010 from overseas based teams keen to come down under to compete and enjoy a trip to OZ.
