CAN-AM SUMMER SEVENS
Chuckanut Bay Rugby's Can Am Summer 7's is always held on the second Saturday in July, and is becoming recognized as one of the elite 7's events in the country.
The first tournament was held in July of 1978 on the campus of Western Washington University and is now played at the Rugby and Polo Club. With the close proximity to the Canadian border, it provides the opportunity for teams on both sides of the 49th Parallel to compete against clubs they would not normally have contact with.
With the tounament having been won by sides from either side of the border it is always fiercly competitive with the added touch of nationalism thrown in, its somewhat spicier than your normal sevens mix.
