The Adelaide Sevens is the third leg of the IRB Sevens World Series. Held at the Adelaide Oval, South Australia, the Adelaide Sevens is one of the two tournaments on the IRB Series to be played over three days. The tournament, also known as the Australia Sevens, is the 5th leg of the IRB Sevens World Series and welcomes 16 international sides.

Like most of the IRB series events the Adelaide Sevens has a festival atmosphere. Spectators at the Adelaide Oval can expect 44 games of the most elite level sevens in the world in and a party atmosphere full of fun and excitement.

In 2010 Adelaide threw up a shock as the USA made it through to the Cup Final where they met Samoa. Mikaele Pesamino and his Samoan team mates dominated throughout the final and they comfortably beat the USA 38-10.
