We’re back again!!! 7th May 2011 will see the third Xiamen Gulangyu Rugby Tens Tournament, hosted by Xiamen Typhoons RFC at the People’s Stadium on Gulangyu Island. The tournament has expanded again, and this year will include ten of the best men’s teams and four of the top women’s teams in Greater China, all converging on Xiamen.

The action starts early, covering a full day jam-packed with great rugby and entertainment from 8am thru’ 5.30pm. Entrance is FREE, so bring along your friends and family for a huge day of entertainment. The music will be pumping as 250 players from all over China battle it out for 2011 Gulangyu Tens glory. The barbeques will be working overtime, serving up tasty burgers all day long, and of course The Londoner will be providing fresh chilled beer on tap all day, with Coca-Cola providing the soft drinks. 
The daytime action on Gulangyu will be followed by an all night celebration beach party back on Xiamen Island staged by Xiamen Beach Entertainment. The beach party will last until sunrise – over one thousand revelers attended the party last year, with a few hundred still partying as the sun came up.
