The Tukkies Ladies rugby team is the only true club team competing internationally against nations on a regular basis. The team competed successfully in Reunion, only losing to France in the final and was ranked second in the tournament.

In Dubai 2009, the team finished second in their pool ahead of France and the USA, but lost to France in the semi-final. The team finished third together with the Moscow region (Russia). In the opening match they lost 17-12 to France, but went on to beat Thailand 33-0 and the USA 14-12. They lost to Russia in their final pool match 0-12. In the quarter final they beat the Arabian Gulf 27-19, but lost in the semi-final to France.
