Ronin Warriors Academy Sat 10 Jul 2010 22:39

Well as the heatwave accross hits and mist people are resting after Manchester 7s and before neequay the ronin club did no such thing and was found on the east coast today at the Boston stump 7s. With only 8 men out of the squad that played at Manchester last Saturday the Raging Bull Ronin WARRIORS were always going to be up against it. But being managed by warriors coach Ledua Camasoko and also captained by ronin regular Tevita Toloi they made easy work of there group games winning 59-0 and 48-17. With the wind in their sails sadly the team due to play us in the QF stepped aside to give us a bye and were more content watching us in our semi final win which was a comfortable although not on paper 22-17 win. So with the final against KS crusaders, a strong invitational team that tours the circuit, at te end of a long hot day the ronin warriors picked it up for one last big effort and played some sizzling 7s. With big miles sautu , and turuturu punching holes feeding off to the ever present lui and bola. And with finishers like Toloi around and john Q there was never any doubt this one was ours. Victorious with a 33-0 win and some more silverware to add to the ronin club cabinet!!! It's been a tough middle spell of the season but in 2 weekends the wheels seem to be firmly back on the wagon! Well done to all involved.... See you at newquay. Sent from my iPhone
