Pyrenees 7s was established in 2004 with the aim to promote the rugby 7's in the South West France, a region rich in rugby culture. Its players come from Elite Amateur level to compete in international tournaments such as Dubaï 7s, Roma 7s (2007) or Hong Kong 10s.



Since 2008, avid to develop the Rugby 7's, Pyrenees 7s has been including an additional team which participates in the Dubaï 7s Internatioanl Under 20 competition.



For six years, hundred players have defended the colours of Pyrenees 7s.



In spite of an important players turn-over, Pyrenees 7s has performed well in the different competitions he was engaged :



- Dubaï 7s Category Overseas International : it has won twice the tournaments (2004-2006) and finished twice runners-up (2005-2007) since its 1st participation in 2004.



- Dubaï 7s Category international Under 20 : it has reached the final in 2009.



- Roma 7s : it has reached the 1/2 Final in 2007 agianst the Samuraï



- Hong Kong 10s : it has won the "Shield" in 2008, and reached the 1/2 Final of the Cup in 2009, against the New Zealand Legends.



Pyrenees 7s carries the values of sharing, generosity and friendship and is proud to support charity's organizations :



- "Oursin Enfants des trottoirs", French-managed association in Manila which provides free education to at-risk children,



- "les Restos du Coeurs"
