 The Ottoman7s team is planning to play in two tournaments in the 2010 season: The Ameland Beach Rugby Festival and the Istanbul Rugby Sevens tournament. 

The Ottoman7s was able to win - during the 10th year edition in 2009 - the championship in the Social Class, leaving behind a t total of 63 teams. The Ottoman7s are going to compete in the Open Class this year, facing - among others - the champions of the 2008 edition: The Heidelberg Romantics. The Top 3 regulars - The Hookers and Utrechtse RC - will be challenged to stay in the final three, while the title will most probably be fought for between The Romantics and the Ottomans. Definitely a one to watch!

A couple of months later, in the "European Capital of Culture in 2010", The Ottoman7s will compete in its home town, with a team yet to be announced, during the Istanbul Rugby Sevens tournament. This will be the first major event for the Ottoman7s team on a regular field in stead of a beach. Although the competitors are not completely known yet, it will be for sure that experienced 7s teams will have to give what they've got in order to be able to anything against the Ottomans. 

Depending on the planning and financials, the Ottoman7s team are considering to participate in one of the major UK Rugby 7s events.
