Olafs Axes Slough 7s Squad
After a strong start to the season winning the Graham Memorial 7s, and strong performances at the Sunshine 7s and the Bournemouth 7s despite injuries, June was a month best forgotten. With 16 players unavailable due to injury or holidays we only had 4 core players available for Rugby rocks, and even less for the West Country 7s (which we had to withdraw from sadly).
I'm pleased to report we have a full squad once again in July for the Slough 7s on 3rd July. Although missing 2 of our top try scorers David Akinluyi and Paul Unseld we have drafted in 2 very strong performers in Graham Purdy and Marimba Odundo-mendez, and we will be looking to put in a performance that banishes the memories of June.
