The rugby sevens team ‘Heroes Barbarians’ is going to be competing in a variety of rugby seven’s tournaments across Britain. The players have a strong military tie, with some players currently serving in the British Forces. Currently the squad has: Army U20 and U23's players, players representing Sandhurst, national standard players, academy players, county representatives and University players.
The aim of the team is to raise awareness of the charity. Whilst raising money at the events.
The team will be playing from the end of the current sevens season with the intention of participating in many next season (thus meaning running well into 2011 and hopefully longer!). The team will be coming to a competition near you soon!
