WELSH DRAGONS INVITATIONAL XV
The Charity Invitational XV was founded in April 2010 by Glenn Gameson-Burrows,Scott Gameson,Aaron Farmer and Nathan Morgan with the aim to raise much needed funds every year for our selected charities, through charity rugby matches and other charity events. On Saturday 17th July 2010 our first game took place against Crumlin XV, ending in a win for our chosen charity this year, Noahs Ark Appeal, Childrens Hospital of Wales. Over the next few months we aim to raise £5000 for the appeal with various events, ending in our 111 mile charity walk from Somerset to Abergavenny.
We aim to arrange two charity events per year, whilst playing in sevens and tens tournaments. Theses charity events will include Invitational rugby,cricket and football matches.
