It wasn't just the men in action in San Francisco with a Women's evenht also taking place. As expected Nova came out on top to take home the inaugural Women’s National Invitational Tournament held over Saturday and Sunday.

It was one one-way traffic in the final with the North Virginia outfit getting themselves to a 35-0 win over Berkeley.

It proved a different story for the eventual champions in the semi-finals as they could only edge through Glendale 10-7 in tight affair. Berkeley found the going a bit easier with a fairly routine 20-5 win over Surfers.

Nova enjoyed a comfortable 19-0 win over Mudhens in the last 8 while Berkeley thrashed the Barbarians 34-0. Surfers pipped Glendale to take the 3/4th place playoff, whilst Nova II also enjoyed success winning the Bowl.
