Middlesex Sevens have confirmed a Help for Heroes VII will be one of the four teams invited as a guest for this year’s tournament which kicks off on August 15th.
The Help for Heroes VII, representing the charity which raises money for wounded soldiers, will be coached by Ben Ryan who is also in charge of the England Sevens team. The side will be a mix of prospective England players for the 2009/10 IRB World Sevens Series and servicemen.
It’s not the first time the England players have turned out for the charity, as it was only this season that a Help for Heroes VII won the Rosslyn Park Floodlit Sevens. There they beat a talented Harlequins side, a club that in fact took the Middlesex Sevens title last year.
Last year's runners up, the British Army, are back again this year and looking in good form following their win at Newquay Surf Sevens and Bath this season.
UR7s are running an exclusive deal with Middlesex Sevens saving you £5 OFF all adult tickets for its members.
