more »Samurai have a Fijian flavour as they head on Safari

ULR Samurai International RFC have today selected their team for the Safaricom 7s in Nairobi on 5th/6th November 2011
Mike Friday and Terry Sands together with Samurai Barracuda's coach Sailosi Naiteqe, have selected an all Fijian team from their 30 man squad based in Fiji.
Naisoni Roko was called up only last week by the Fijian National team to take part in the RWC qualifiers. David Batiratu takes over the Captaincy.
Friday commented that ''The Safari 7s has been moved this year from June to November and with the UK Rugby season now really hotting up player release is more difficult than normal, with the help of Sailosi who coaches the Barracuda team in Fiji, we have selected a team from the squad that has been taking part on the current 7s circuit in Fiji'' Friday went on to say ''the team will consist of youth and experience and will have to the opportunity to showcase their talents against a very strong Safaricom tournament that will feature Samoa, South Africa, Auckland and Spain amongst other really strong teams''
''The ULR Samurai International team have been fortunate to secure additional sponsorship from Nescafe which has helped to provide the Samurai Fiji boy's with what will hopefully be a fantastic experience for them'' said playing Chairman Terry Sands.
The Samurai playing squad and management are shown shortly after finishing their final training session before departure.
