DUBAI, UAE, 24 October 2011 – Organisers of the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens announced today that MMI Travel has been appointed as Official Tour Operator for the 2011 tournament.

With thousands of rugby fans heading to Dubai for the three-day spectacle, MMI Travel has put together packages for those travelling to the city and has also been tasked with appointing Official Travel Agents across the globe.

The Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens takes place from December 1-3 at 7he Sevens and will see 16 of the finest international Sevens teams taking to the field for the second leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series.

In addition, over 170 teams will take part in the hugely popular Invitation tournament on the surrounding pitches, with crowds of over 40,000 expected on both Friday and Saturday for what remains the region’s favourite sporting and social event.
