HFW Wailers aim to make impact at Middlesex 7s

Following their appearance in the final at the Newquay Surf Sevens and overall 4th place in the Super Sevens Series the HFW Wailers are looking to make a real impact at Twickenham this weekend as they name a squad with a great deal of international experience.

Director of Rugby, Andy Howells is pleased to welcome back recent England 7s international Aaron Myers who has been playing on the FIRA GPS circuit for his country, whilst the return of Jack Smales from France means the Wailers have named their strongest squad so far this season.

Alongside Myers upfront, the Wailers have a fit David Akinluyi who showed his form this past weekend with a number of powerful scores. Akinluyi will actually playing against his 15s club in the first round as the Wailers take on London Championship side Esher.

Further international 7s experience comes from north of the border in the form of Callum Anderson and Alan Dodds who have both been capped by Scotland.
