The top teams that will be battling it out to walk away winner of Vauxhall Middlesex Charity Sevens 2011 have been released.

BUCS winner Durham will also be joining them, alongside Middlesex Cup winner Esher and Rugby Rocks qualifier Gilbert Pups.
Can Samurai make it two years in a row? Will the Army overcome Samurai after losing to them in the final at Rugby Rocks? Will Wooden Spoon, sponsors of the event take home the cup? And how will our visiting Nation Brazil fair? What about West Country 7s winners Gilbert Pups who defeated Olorun Sharks on 'golden-point' extra time last weekend and the Sharks will be looking to reverse that.
Be there and find out for yourselves 9th July at Twickenham Stadium.
In preparation for the Rugby 7s Olympics in Rio...
The first recorded game of rugby in Brazil was held in 1888, since then it has had a slow uptake with much of the increased popularity only happening in the past couple of years. The only way to watch rugby union on television in Brazil is through paid subscriptions, which the vast majority of Brazilians don't have resulting in the sport being fairly unknown to much of the population.
However rugby is now in intense development in Brazil, being played regularly in twenty one of Brazil's twenty six states. This trend is bound to continue with Rio hosting the 2016 Olympics when Rugby sevens is going to be included for the very first time.

Whoa, you sure have stirred up some "stuff" here. Yeah, I am a lltite jealous. For when a FishHawk insults someone in cyberspace, and there is no one around to read it, does it really matter? No, I suppose it doesn't. Sigh.
