After missing out on the opening two legs of the HSBC Sevens World Series in December, Collins Injera, Biko Adema, Sidney Ashioya and Lavin Asego return to the Kenya Sevens team that will depart on Saturday 29th January 2011 for the third and fourth legs of the series in Wellington, New Zealand and Las Vegas,USA.
Impala RFC backrow Lawrence Buyachi and his Nakuru counterpart Oscar Ouma earn their maiden call ups to a world series touring party. Humphrey Kayange retains the captain's armband. His club mate Horace Otieno misses out due to injury.
This was revealed when a fourteen man team was unveiled at the Kenya Rugby Union secretariat at the RFUEA Grounds on Tuesday morning. It is expected that their inclusions will add impetus to the Kenyan campaign, as Coach Benjamin Ayimba's side go in pursuit of their first points on the 2010/2011 HSBC Sevens World Series.
The fourteen man team has been named due to the unavailability of some players for both legs due to work and academic commtiments.
