Yesterday at the Sun Splace 7’s Tournament, several folks from Tackling Cancer were on hand to coach, play and spectate on a beautiful Sunday in Southern California. This long running Long Beach tournament was won by the 2009 US National Champion Belmont Shore Tigers who is coached by our own James Walker! Congratulations on the first tournament championship this summer – with many more to come, we are sure.

We would also like to thank all of the rugby organizations that took a step helping raise awareness and money for youth rugby, cancer research and our organization!!! We will begin our next raffle in July with a drawing in December and plan on using the momentum generated with this first drawing to get the support of many other rugby clubs around the US.
