17:38

NEW ZEALAND WIN THE LONDON SEVENS 2013!!!

17:23

Cup Final - New Zealand 47.12 Australia

All Blacks heavy favorites and they show why as they race out to a 2 score lead but Aussie have fought hard all weekend and they get one back almost immediately before Sherwin Stowers goes over from distance for another score. This a bit of a procession now but considering the way the Blacks have played this season they deserve their time in the sun (or grey) Mikkelson grabs a 5th for NZ and the game is over with 4 mins to play. NZ continue to score at will

That's it. New Zealand have been awesome this week and even better this season. Well played and good job Tietjens. Sir Alex has gone but you are still going strong!!!

16:53

3rd Place Playoff - England 26.7 Kenya

It's how their season started (and middle) and it's how it's going to end. Who will win today? Kenya on the board quickly with a score from Willie Ambaka but Norton get's his 51st of the season as they fire straight back at them and make it 7 each. England beginning to tick again, such a momentum side. CLP gets the score this time following good work from Norton and Mitchell

CLP creates and grabs another one and then weirdly just gives it to Norts after they had already got over the line. Norton scores again, number 52. Ellery then takes the Kick off and closes the game out for England with a powerful run up the middle for the 4th score. Cursed it. It's not over yet. Ambaka scores 2 quickly and suddenly it's a one score game again with 30 seconds on the clock. England get it in to touch though as the hooter goes and takes 3rd place in the London 7s for 2013. Great finish to the season for England with 2 third place finishes in the UK

16:51

16:30

Qualifier Final - Portugal 10.5 Russia - PORTUGAL QUALIFY FOR NEXT SEASON WORLD SERIES

It's one last throw of the dice. Portugal who have beaten many of the top sides this season have 14 minutes to find their way back into the series for another year. RWC7s host Russia want a slice of the pie though and draw first blood with a score from Gresev. For so long this game looked like it was going to the Russians but now there is only 20 seconds left and Portugal lead by a score following some superb play of the magician Pedro Leal. Last play of the game now, Russia ball. Knock on, it's all over

16:26

Plate Final - Fiji 14.5 USA - FIJI WIN THE PLATE

USA fall short in their chance to win 3 consecutive plate victories as the Fijians show their class. They have a good weekend, Carlin Isles grabs a consolation score for the Americans who have proven they are eating from the top table of the World Series at the moment, they have finished the season brilliantly.

16:14

WALES WIN THE BOWL

14:47

Cup S/F - England 7.14 Australia

England get first of the afternoon and of course it has gone to Dan Norton. Watson made it though, chips through and Norton races in under the posts. There is not a better winger in the game at the moment. That's number 50 for the season. Australia works themselves back into the game though and they do so with a score under the posts following 3/4 mins of pressure. Williams also off for England

Australia take the lead with a score from Schuster following a high tackle from Jeff Williams. England up against now. Crucial decisions going against England now and only a little over a minute left. Australia with the ball but a penalty is given for not releasing. England cannot do anything though and the hooter has gone. Australia into the final of the London 7s much to the dislike of the crowd here. Australia always good in London

14:34

14:33

Cup S/F - Kenya 0.7 New Zealand

Crowd is fully behind the Kenyans in this one but neither side able to break the other down from the outset. Kenya v England (Friday v Ryan) would be a delicious final here. Kenya not without their chances but NZ hold strong and it's without a score at the break.

Right we are off again and it's time for the All Blacks to have a bit of ball. NZ can't find a way through and Kenya keeping their defensive shaper better this week. Kenya are pinned right back and the pressure tells eventually as Ahki steps his man and goes under the posts. Little over 2 mins remaining. That could be telling and it is. The All Blacks close it out and make it to the final. Who will they play??

14:03

13:53

Plate S/F - USA 17.5 South Africa

Boks went out in brutal extra-time fashion to England. USA fell short to Australia. US score first through Zach Test before Cecil Afrika creates some space for Dippenaar for the Boks. This one is going to be close, USA Rugby Dallen Stanford says the Eagles will win by 2pts. He could be right as well as Shalom Suniala scores after some exceptional work from the boys up front creating some space in behind the Boks.

USA might be winning this one, they score again this time through Test in the North West corner and its gets a big cheer from the crowd. 17.5 to the Eagles. Hawkins has grabbed the winner as well. Eagles into 3rd consecutive plate final

13:29

13:26

Plate S/F - Fiji 26.12 Argentina

Both sides struggled this morning but what did the Pumas 50 point loss to New Zealand do to their confidence. Alot by the looks, Fiji look a different animal as they score twice early on and keep the pressue on the Argies. Pumas show real fight this time though and get one back almost straight away and then begin to build in confidence towards the end of the half as they grab their own 2nd score to tie it up. Fiji get one before the break though and move back into the lead through Nadiaolobo

Not much space for either side in the second half but it looks like Votu has sealed it for the Islanders, just over a minute remaining and they lead 26.12 and it finishes that way.

13:25

World Series Qualifier - S/F - Scotland 19.0 Russia - SCOTLAND QUALIFY FOR NEXT SEASON WORLD SERIES

Huge amount on the line here and Scotland know it. They have spoken about it all week and you can tell. Scotland come out of the blocks with real power and Colin Gregor is pulling the strings straight away. Russia are unable to hold the Scots and though tense they get the first score. Russia continue to struggle in second period and Scotland are able to capitalise before Gregor seals it for Scotland. Really pleased for them.

12:46

World Series Qualifier - S/F - Portugal 5.12 Spain - SPAIN QUALIFY FOR NEXT SEASON WORLD SERIES

Winner of this is guaranteed a spot in next years World Series. Huge game for all involved. Tense affair between old rivals. Portugal draw first blood and rightly so witha well worked piece of rugby, stretching the Spaniards and scoring in the corner for a 5 point lead. My main man, Jaike Carter squares it up for Spain though with a real show of wheels from the former Elite ID man come Spanish Conquistador! 5 each at drinks.

Still neither side can break the other down. Spain trying from distance and Carter almost does it again but hauled down just before the line. Portugal stronger at breakdown but Spain playing with real width. Some tired bodies out there right now with only a minute left to play. Spain finally find a way through and win it and qualify for next season. Huge scenes of celebrations.

12:23

12:21

Bowl S/F - Canada 14.28 France

Canada open the scoring after a sustained period of pressure from France through a chase away from Taylor Paris. France bite back and then we have a break in procedings due to some amusing injuries with Canadians running into one another. Sean Duke then breaks out to score again for Canada but little Terry scores the equaliser again for the French to tie it up. Candelon might have stolen this one for France, as little Terry grabs the extras as well they now lead by a score. France seal it with another and move on to play Wales in the Bowl Final.

12:03

Bowl S/F - Samoa 12.21 Wales

Samoa just not at the races this weekend for some reason and their slow form continues as Wales shoot to an early lead. Richie Pugh back in the squad for Wales this weekend but they have struggled for consistent form themselves. Chris Knight show some serious wheels for a second score and Wales lead 14.7. Samoa break out though and keep it close with a score themselves just before oranges. Samoa draw first blood in the second half and it's 14.12 with 5 mins to play. Wales grab an all important third score to put the game to bed and move into the final of the Bowl where they will play France or Canada

11:52

Cracking match in the Womens tournament on the main field between England and Canada, both sides who will be looking for RWC7s glory in Moscow. England fire out to an early lead but Jo Watmore proves to be the class difference between the sides scoring late to win the match. Good game and England will be in at least one final today against Australia later on

11:36

10:59

Extra Time - ENGLAND WIN. ENGLAND WIN

In an incredibly tense period of play, England finally find a way through following a number of decisions from the ref in their favor. The ball pops out and Norton is there, he goes 60 metres before finding Watson who swan dives over. England through to semi-finals against Australia

10:35

Cup Q/F - England 14.14 South Africa

Boks knocked England out last week, will they do the same on Englands home turf? England need to retain kick-off and then will be good. England not at the races in the first few minutes. Rodwell and Brake both have clangers and Blitzbokke take advantage to score the first. England really struggling at the break down as they are unable to match the power of the Boks. Counter rucking is huge for South Africa and England are not awake to it. England keep themselves in the game as Rodwell pounces on a mistake and finds Norton who does he does best, run fast.

England back in the game now and beginning to get the rub of the green from the ref as well as Powell throws an enormous dummy to score again. England cannot find the break through score and Watson misses a chance to win it with a penalty. We are going to Extra time!!

10:16

Cup Q/F - USA 19.22 Australia - F/T

These 2 met yesterday and somehow the Australians stole a win at the death in a game they had no right to win. Today, could it be different? The USA draw first blood with a well worked score. Crowd not into this one at all. England up next. Quieter today, which is a shame. The yanks stretch their lead but it seems to wake the Aussies up who score immediately from the kick-off but miss the extras and it's drinks.

Nick Edwards is the man, he goes the length and the press box with many a yank in here is going crazy, are the states going make the semi-finals? Somehow Australia score what perhaps will be the best score of the day through James Stannard to know the states out of the Cup. Incredible score, patience, power and some dirty feet.

10:15

09:55

Cup Q/F - Kenya 20-7 Fiji

The two favourites of the neutrals go head to head, with the weather likely to suit both teams. Kenya take an early lead off the back of the power of Amonde and the deft touch of Injera. Willie Ambaka stretches the Kenyan lead after a period of possession that stretched the Fijian defense one too many times. It's looking like Kenya will be in another semi-final as they score a third through Oscar Ouma and before we know it the crowd are cheering for the Shujaa once again with Bristol University man Kayange going over, that's the match.

09:48

Cup Q/F - New Zealand 52-7 Argentina

That man Kurt Baker is at it again: he goes over after just a minute to well and truly put the game out of the reach of Los Pumas. Argentina barely resemble the side that so comprehensively beat England yesterday, and the rout continues as debutant Tevita Li sends Lote Raikabula in for his 100th World Series try; some achievement. It gets even worse for the Pumas, as Rocky Khan, the first Indian All Black, scores under the posts. And up comes the half century, Tim Mikkelson benefiting from a turnover top go over in the corner. Argentina do get a consolation score from Lucas de Vincenzi, but it's far too little, far too late.

09:37

Cup Q/F - New Zealand 28.0 Argentina

The All Blacks are put under pressure early on, but at the first time of asking show their supreme skills, going the length of the field, with Kurt Baker touching down for his fifth try of the weekend, and a quite disgusting step from new sensation Gillies Kaka continues the procession. More brilliant ball retention from the Kiwis sees a third try in six minutes from Raikabula, and there's still time for a fourth through Sherwin Stowers. All Blacks once again proving why they're World Series champions, and a fantastic touchline conversion from Tomasi Cama leaves Argentina with an almost impossible task ahead of them.

09:30

Right the Qualifier semi-finals are set and one side is going to be broken hearted but 3 will be celebrating keeping their jobs for another year.

Portugal v Spain
Scotland v Russia
