Click on this link to add yourself as a player.

Teams
Q. How can I maximise our team’s exposure on UR7s.com?
A. The more proactive you are with your team profile and throughout UR7s.com, the more exposure you will receive. Every time you upload videos, photos and notices, every time you post a blog or enter discussion in the forum, you will appear elsewhere on UR7s.com.
For teams this appears in the ‘recent activity’ column on the team landing page. Team blogs will automatically appear on the homepage, the best videos will be featured and the more proactive you are across the site, the better your chance of become a ‘most popular’ team (see below).
Performance on the field can affect your exposure as well, as our UR7s reporters will be at most events and if you are tagged in a news article this will direct users back to your profile. Also, any news articles you are tagged in will be archived on your profile – something you can show off to your sponsors. Quality counts on and off the pitch!

Q. How can we become a “most popular” team?
A. The team profiles that receive the most views/hits across a week running from Wednesday to Wednesday are featured as the most popular teams on the team landing page. See above for some tips on how to maximise your exposure and receive more hits.

Q. How can we be “Team of the Month”?
A. UR7s will choose the Team of the Month using several criteria, including: performance, success and achievements, as well as how proactive the team is on UR7s.com. The Team of the Month may come from any level of sevens – men, women, youth, international, club or social.

Q. How do I add player players to my team profile?
A. First, your players must be UR7s members – so ask them to register if they’re not already. Then they need to go to your Team Profile homepage and select “Add yourself” under the Team Players section. The Team Profile admin can then accept or deny their request to be recognised as a player.

Q. How can we recruit players?
A. If you need to make up numbers for a particular tournament somewhere in the world, post your needs in the forum under the topic, “Players Needed”. We are considering creating a specific player/team market place section, but for the meantime please use the forum.

Tournaments
Q. How can I maximise our tournament’s exposure on UR7s.com?
A. The more proactive you are with your tournament profile and throughout UR7s.com, the more exposure you will receive. Every time you upload videos, photos and notices, every time you post a blog or enter discussion in the forum, you will appear elsewhere on UR7s.com. Tournament blogs will automatically appear on the homepage, the best videos will be featured and the more proactive you are across the site, the better your chance of being a Featured Tournament.
Furthermore, the more teams that have connected with your tournament profile as a “Competing Team” and the more media they upload with your tournament tagged, the more exposure your tournament will receive through those teams’ activity. So as well as regularly blogging and adding videos yourself, encourage participating teams and players to blog and upload media about you – and to make sure they tag your tournament.

Q. How can we be a “featured tournament” on the homepage?
A. Featured tournaments on the site are chosen on a number of criteria and what they offer the UR7s community at any one time. We will usually ensure that there is a diverse mix in terms of geography and levels of competition. We will also judge tournaments on their interaction on UR7s.com (see above), the quality of their profile and the proximity to the event. Most importantly, we will do our best to make sure the tournaments featured offering interesting content to users of the site.

Q. How can I show what teams are competing in the tournament?
A. For teams to appear in the ‘competing’ section they need to have a profile on UR7s. From here it is up to the team to go to your tournament profile and select ‘compete in this tournament’ option. The tournament admin will receive a message and can then accept or decline. If teams are on the site but have not taken this option then just drop them a message on their wall and let them know how to do it.
If a participating team is not yet on UR7s.com, give them a nudge and encourage them to get involved. The more of your participating teams that have UR7s profiles, the more useful a tool it will become for you and the more exposure you are likely to receive across the site.

Q. What do I put on the notice board?
A. Anything you want, but we would encourage you to use it for information that you don’t want to be pushed down the blogging page. Tournaments use the notice board for items such as team registration forms, tournament schedules, results and posters.

Q. Who can I message on behalf of my tournament?
A. You can message anyone that you are friends with on the site, so the more you interact and the more teams and members you become friends with, the more people you can send your tournament communications to.
